Taylor Epps is the weekend anchor and In-Depth reporter at 7 News in Buffalo. She joined WKBW in June 2019. She worked with the Good Morning Buffalo team as the morning reporter for two years.

In her five years in WNY, Epps has covered a wide range of community-based stories from following veterans to D.C. with Honor Flight Buffalo Niagara twice, to covering viral sensations like the Real Hood Santa. She's been here for the recent life-shattering events in our community from the COVID-19 pandemic to the mass shooting at Tops.

Epps won a New York Emmy Award for her work in the days following the May 14th shooting. She was recognized as one of the 30 under 30 Changemakers of 2020.

She is a board member of the Buffalo Association of Black Journalists and the Buffalo Broadcasters Association.

She hails from South Jersey, but left the shore to spend her college years studying Broadcast and Digital Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

She's a huge fan of Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon, Survivor and The Nanny.

When she’s not in the newsroom, she's either walking around her North Buffalo community with her puppy Reese, watching or waiting for a football game or enjoying the millions of things WNY has to offer. Unless it's too cold, in which case, she is at home taking a nap.
