BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Excitement for the Bills is beyond words. You see it on social media, in the streets, and now in several local bakeries.
“It’s so much fun, it’s just such a great time for Buffalo,” said Ania Duchon, President and Owner of Chrusciki’s Bakery in Clarence.
They've got snacks and coffee covered for your Bills watch party. With football-shaped macarons, 'Make me wanna shout!' cookies, and Bills lattes.
“Anything we can do to support that Buffalo spirit,” said Duchon.
Her Bills treats run from a $15 pack of cookies to a full $50 game day dessert platter. Check out a full list here.
Looking for something more savory? Head toWheatberry Bake Shop for a Zubaz-inspired treat.
"Growing up, going through all those Super Bowls before, I felt like our whole neighborhood had Zubaz and I was jealous, I loved them. Now with us going to the playoffs so quickly, it’s the first thing that came into my head," said Creator and Owner Lindsay Wilczinski.
So she tried making her own Zubaz-patterned bread and got the design perfect on the first try. Because what says Go Bills better than 12 layers of dough?
"It’s our Italian dough, so it’s naturally vegan, but it’s got a great hint of garlic to it, it’s a great white bread,” said Wilczinski.
And it’s a hit with Bills Mafia, flying off the shelves. She spends all day just making more, so you can have a loaf for game time.
"You can order ahead of time or stop in, we’re making it constantly now," said Wilczinski.
There are two sizes. The small one is one lb for $5.50 and the bigger bag is two lbs for $10.50. Just call 716-839-3500.
