BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Bills Mafia is passionate, loud and loyal above all else. Win or lose this weekend, fans say they're grateful for this Buffalo Bills team.

“You still have a good feeling about the team and what they’ve done. There cannot be anyone in WNY that’s not proud of that," said Gary Nanni, lifelong fan from Oakfield.

We told Head Coach Sean McDermott about this and he is feeling just the same.

“I just can’t thank the fans enough for what they’ve done this year and their support what they’ve done when they couldn’t be here. To coming to the game like they did this past week and again this week. We felt their support even when they couldn’t be in the stadium and that’s been big for us as a team,” said McDermott.

Gary Nanni is one of those supporters. He's a lifelong fan and season ticket holder, who’s been waiting for Saturday’s Prime-time game for decades. He's been here through thick and thin. Now, the excitement is really ramping up for Nanni because for the first time since last season, he’ll be there in the stands.

“I just think the build up would be more for the second game than for the first, we took a chance, they won, we went online right away and got the tickets for this game,” said Nanni.

Gary Nanni has been cheering on the Bills since the 60's.

Though things are different because of COVID-19 precautions, Nanni is feeling pumped.

"It is what it is. I think it’s just as exciting especially if they win!” said Nanni.

He’s feeling all of the pre-game jitters, so we asked Coach McDermott for advice.

7 Eyewitness News: Do you have any messages for bills fans, going into Saturday to ease the tension or rally the troops?

“Well I don't know if I can ease their tension! Their tension is probably the same as my tension! But we’ve got a good football team," said McDermott.

As we all impatiently wait for game time, Nanni encourages all of Bills Mafia to reflect on the season and feel gratitude.

"I just want to say thank you [to the Bills] for giving us this opportunity,” said Nanni.
