BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The annual release of the NFL schedule has become an unofficial holiday for Buffalo Bills fans and the wait is almost over. The NFL has announced that the schedule for the 2020 season will be released this Thursday night at 8.

The official schedule release will provide a road map for the Bills as they look to build on a 10-6 season in 2019 that saw the team get back to the playoffs for the second time in three seasons under Head Coach Sean McDermott.

Fans are hoping that the success in 2019 season will boost the Bills into the national primetime spotlight on a more consistent basis in 2020. The Bills only game originally scheduled as a nationally televised game in 2019 was the Thanksgiving game against Dallas. The Bills beat the Cowboys 26-15.

Thursday the Bills will finally be able to put dates and times to go along with the list of opponents that was announced late in 2019.

The Bills will travel to Las Vegas, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver, Nashville, Miami, New York and New England in 2020. The Bills will host Kansas CIty, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Miami, New England, New York and both the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams at New Era Field.

The 2020 NFL schedule will be unveiled Thursday night at 8 ET on the NFL Network, the NFL app and NFL.com.
