BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — On Tuesday you can voice your opinion on the new plans to get rid of the Buffalo Skyway at public meetings on the Skyway removal plan.

In September, New York state and federal officials announced that the City of Lights plan to turn the area into a park won the Skyway Corridor Competition.

The New York State Department of Transportation will hold two public meetings Tuesday afternoon at the Gateway Building at 3556 Lake Shore Road in Blasdell between 1 and 4, and 5 and 8.

In addition, the Federal Highway Administration will hold a public meeting on Wednesday at Southside Elementary School in Buffalo between 4 and 8 p.m.

Each session will be held in an open house format, and features Spanish and Arabic language interpreters along with a sign language interpreter.
