Two days after Republican Congressman Chris Collins did not attend a student-run gun discussion in Buffalo, he was out visiting students in schools Monday.
Collins attended pre-planned meetings at Lancaster and Eden Schools.
He says no topics were off the table.
Meantime, he's being criticized by his opponent, Democrat Nate McMurray.
Collins is going to high schools today, because, you know, he likes "talking to the kids," so long as it's controlled groups of kids (watched over by administrators with detention slips). Do us all a favor guys, don't let him spin too much. Hold him accountable as best you can.

McMurray says Collins should attend discussions that are open to the public.
The media was not invited to attend the discussions at Lancaster and Eden.
Collins says the gun-forum on Saturday was a "political rally" to promote McMurray.
Visited two #NY27 high schools today. Thanks to the students at @lancastercsd and Eden HS for hosting me to discuss issues like school safety, the environment, entrepreneurship and other topics. pic.twitter.com/6jXwiPywvO
