An 88 year-old man died Sunday morning after being hit by a car in the town of French Creek.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says 88 year-old George Boozell was trying to cross the street on Griffin Road when he was hit around 8:30 Sunday morning.He died on the scene.
Deputies say the investigation into the accident is ongoing, and charges are pending.
