BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) — Pastry Chef Camille Le Caer mastered macaroons at an early age in his hometown of Brittany, France. When he married a girl from Lockport he decided to bring his sweet treats to Western New York. He says "we decided to stay for one reason. The people. There are many things in Buffalo, one of the great things, one of the best things is the people."

The people clamored to his popular bakery on Hertel, so Camille opened his cafe called Maison Le Caer at Market Arcade. On the menu here besides Camille's popular pastries, there are crepes, freshly made to order. Camille says he brought the idea of savory crepes from his hometown.

He has plans to soon open a bistro on Hertel Avenue. You can find more information about Chef Camille's bakery and cafe at his website.
