CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Cabela's in Cheektowaga is hiring for 61 seasonal retail positions ahead of the 2020 holiday season.
The camping, hunting and outdoor store is hosting a hiring event on Thursday at its location at 2003 Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Applicants will participate in on-site interviews.
Walk-ins are welcome, but candidates can also apply in advance on Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's website.
The company says the positions come with healthcare benefits, discounts of up to 45% on store merchandise, and flexible hours.
The positions are part of a push by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's to hire 7,000 workers nationwide to prepare for the holidays.
