Are 80s out of the ordinary for Memorial Day?

Looking back through the past 40 years or so, Buffalo has had as many 80F degree Memorial Days as as 60F degree ones!  Considering 70F is average for the end of May it comes as no surprise we've had the most 70F degree Memorial days at 16 since 1980.
