Talk about an eventful day -- On Friday 19-year-old Brendan Guhle of the Prince George Cougars (WHL) was getting ready for a regular season game against the Victoria Royals. Less than 24 hours later Guhle will be suiting up with the Buffalo Sabres, for his first NHL game.

"We were just doing our warm-up in the morning, our stretch, we played last night and then coach called me in and told me I got traded to the Sabres," Guhle said Saturday morning leading up to his first NHL game. "I wasn't even really sure that was allowed."
Guhle, 19, was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round (51st overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
In 19 games with Prince George Guhle has seven points.
