Another day, another call-up for the Buffalo Sabres. On Monday the team recalled both Casey Nelson and Brady Austin from AHL Rochester.

The recall is Austin's first of his career. The 2012 draft pick has nine points [2G,7A] in 61 games with the Amerks this season.

Nelson returns for his third recall of the season. In nine games played with the Sabres this season, Nelson has no points and a minus-four plus/minus rating.

Both Nelson and Austin are expected to play against the Detroit Red Wings because of injuries to Cody Franson, Dmitry Kulikov, Justin Falk and Taylor Fedun.

Brady Austin, you just made the list!

If Austin plays on Monday against the Red Wings as expected, he'll be the 12th Sabres defenseman to play in a game this season.

Here are the others:

-Rasmus Ristolainen
-Jake McCabe
-Josh Gorges
-Cody Franson
-Zach Bogosian
-Dmitry Kulikov
-Justin Falk
-Taylor Fedun
-Eric Burgdoerfer
-Casey Nelson
-Brandon Guhle
