BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres have acquired Rangers forward Jimmy Vesey in exchange for a third round draft pick in 2021.
The team made the announcement on twitter.
Vesey played 81 games for the Rangers last season. The forward scored 17 goals.
This is not the first time the Buffalo Sabres have traded for Vesey. The team acquired the rights to Vesey in a trade with the Nashville Predators in 2016.
The 26-year-old forward decided to sign with the Rangers instead.
