From the moment it was announced that the Buffalo Sabres were taking part in the 2018 NHL Winter Classic fans have wondered what the Sabres jerseys would look like. That still remains a big question but on Friday the NHL teased what the Sabres logo might look like on Snapchat of all places.
The league's official Snapchat account posted two different pictures featuring some of the potential Sabres logos. One of the posts features two Sabres logos with the caption: "Buffalo going old school?"
Take a look for yourself:
I actually don't hate the Buffalo logo. I'd imagine I'm in the minority with that opinion though. https://t.co/FxwLXqTQM9

The NHL has not released what the Sabres and Rangers jerseys will look like and according to Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News, that reveal will happen at a later date.
This might be an unpopular opinion but I love the gold charging Buffalo logo.
It's unique, has a retro look and most importantly it reverts back to the Sabres original color scheme from the 1970's. IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!
That being said, I don't love that the Sabres original crest has "NY" added under the swords. It's really not a big deal and I understand what the NHL is going for, it just seems forced.
Overall, if these are going to be the primary and secondary logos for the Sabres Winter Classic jersey I think fans are going to be pretty excited.
