Team USA outshot Italy 32 to 9 (!) en route to a 3-0 win. After a disappointing start against Germany, the Americans have now won three straight games, improving to 3-1 [nine points] on the tournament.
Buffalo Sabres forward Jack Eichel was left off the score sheet against the Italians and has three assists in four games. Team USA will have a few days off before they take on Zemgus Girgensons and the undefeated Latvian team on Saturday.
