HARBORCENTER was jam-packed on Wednesday as the Buffalo Sabres began development camp, featuring some of the organizations top prospects.

Rasmus Dahlin, the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NHL Draft was the center of attention in Wednesday’s first session, while 2017 first round pick Casey Mittelstadt highlighted the second session.

“Yeah, there hasn't been a crowd that has cheered for me when I was training so that was pretty special," Dahlin said with a smile.  "These four days that I've been here, everyone has been so friendly and they've wished all the best for me, so, it's been amazing here, I love it. I can't wait to get the season started."

The Sabres have two more days of practices and the French Connection Prospects Tournament to end the camp on Saturday. Only season ticket holders will be admitted to Saturday’s session.
