MIAMI (WKBW) — Earlier this year we told you about a Rochester-area teen who petitioned to get the Super Bowl played on a Saturday.
Now, there's new research which shows that millions of Americans are willing to take off the Monday after the Super Bowl.
According to Workforce Institute, 17.5 million American workers will stay at home on Monday.
If this ends up being the case, it will be the largest amount of people taking off work as the result of the Super Bowl, since Workforce Institute began tracking data back in 2005.
