AVON, N.Y. (WKBW) — Everyone knows that you play the Super Bowl on a Sunday; however a Rochester-area teen wants to move the big game up a day.
16 year-old Frankie Ruggieri of Avon, which is just over an hour south east of Buffalo, says he wants to move the Super Bowl to Saturday for a legitimate reason; SLEEP.
"I'd like for the Super Bowl to be on Saturdays because of schools are not open the next day, no school the next morning, no work," Ruggieri said. "Might as well make it Saturday."
The petition would move Super Bowl LV in Tampa to Saturday, February 6th, 2021.
