UB Bulls women's basketball team headed to round of 32 after win against Rutgers

STORRS, Conn. (WKBW) — For the second straight season, the UB Women's basketball team is heading to the Round of 32. On Friday the Bulls topped Rutgers in their first game of the NCAA tournament with an 82 to 71 win.

Summer Hemphill and Cierra Dillard and led the way on offense for the Bulls.

UB will take on the winner of the UConn and Towson matchup on Sunday in Storrs, Connecticut. With the win, the Bulls improve to 24-9 on the season.
