BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Following the Bills' 26-15 Thanksgiving Day victory over the Dallas Cowboys, the team has put themselves in a position to clinch a playoff birth during Week 14. It would be their second appearance in the last three seasons.
Here's what needs to happen:
- Buffalo Bills (9-3) defeat the Baltimore Ravens (10-2)
- Tennessee Titans (7-5) defeat or tie the Oakland Raiders (6-6)
- Denver Broncos (4-8) defeat the Houston Texans (8-4)
AND
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7) defeat or tie the Indianapolis Colts (6-6)
If all of those happen, the Bills will clinch at least a Wild Card spot.
According to the NYT Playoff Predictor, the Bills currently have a 95% chance to make the playoffs. If the Bills lose this week to the Ravens, then win in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5), that will rise to 99%.
According to the NFL, the Bills are one of four AFC teams with the opportunity to lock down a playoff spot this weekend joining Baltimore (10-2), Kansas City (8-4) and the New England Patriots (10-2).
