BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Bills announced Saturday that tight end Dawson Knox tested positive for COVID-19. Knox had already not been practicing due to a calf injury.

Due to league-mandated contact tracing, tight ends Lee Smith, Tommy Sweeney (physically unable to perform), and Nate Becker (practice squad) have also been added to the Reserve/COVID-19 List.

The only two tight ends available to the Bills moving forward are Tyler Kroft and rookie Reggie Gilliam.

Linebacker Tyrel Dodson has been moved to short-term injured reserve due to his hamstring injury. Dodson had already been ruled out of this week's game against the Jets.

The Bills have also elevated four players from their practice squad: WR Duke Williams, OL Jordan Devey, LB Andre Smith, and CB Dane Jackson.

The roster moves take effect immediately for the Jets game. As of 3:00 p.m. Saturday, this week's game is still on for Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
