EAST RUTHERFORD, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the New York Jets in Week 7.

Hughes recorded 2.0 sacks, one interception, a forced fumble, a pass defensed and six total tackles in the Bills win.

The Bills prevented the Jets from scoring the entire second half of Sunday's game in the Bills 18-10 win.
