ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Bills QB Josh Allen is still in concussion protocol but there is a positive sign. On Wednesday during his weekly press conference, Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Allen will do individual drill work when the team hits the practice field for that day's practice.

Allen was injured in Sunday's game against the New England Patriots following a helmet-to-helmet hit. He left the game and was taken to the locker room for further evaluation.

With Allen out, the team is preparing Matt Barkley to start should Allen not be ready to go. Barkley played in the final quarter of Sunday's game, completing 9-of-16 passes for 127 yards and an interception.

The Bills will take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday before heading into the bye week.
