BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Stephen Hauschka missed both of his field goal attempts today. That was the difference as the Bills lose the battle of Lake Erie to the Cleveland Browns 19-16.

After the Browns marched down the field for a touchdown to open the game, the Bills' defense stood tall. A goal line stand late in the first quarter kept it a one-score game.

The Bills trailed 9-7 going into the locker room. But the defense pulled through again in the second half with a safety to tie the game.

The two signal callers went back and forth in the fourth quarter. Josh Allen led a touchdown drive. Baker Mayfield answered. Allen got the Bills into field goal range, but Hauschka's second miss of the day sealed the deal for the Browns.

The Bills are on the road again next weekend; they play the Miami Dolphins at 1:00 p.m. next Sunday.
