ORCHARD PARK, NY (WKBW) — Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White has been named a nominee for the 2020 Art Rooney Sportsmanship award. It's an annual honor presented to the NFL player who best exemplifies outstanding sportsmanship on the field.
"It's kind of surreal," White told reporters Friday afternoon. "It's an honor to be recognized in that light and something I don't take lightly. For people around here to recognize me for such a prestigious award, I'm proud to be the nominee for the Buffalo Bills."
Four players from each conference, eight in total, will be selected as finalists by a panel of former NFL players. Those finalists will be listed on the Pro Bowl ballot. The winner will receiver a $25,000 donation to the charity of his choice.
