BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — This week's game against the Baltimore Ravens was truly a test of where the Bills stand in the grand scheme of the NFL.

Even though Buffalo lost 24-17, they showed that they could hang with one of the best teams in the league.

Neither offense was eye-popping in the victory; both the Bills and the Ravens had under 100 yards of offense at halftime. Baltimore led 10-6 at the break.

Buffalo's defense held Lamar Jackson in check: The MVP candidate threw 16/25 for 145 yards and added only 40 yards on the ground.

The game came down to a 4th & 8 with 1:08 to go in the game; Josh Allen couldn't connect with John Brown over the middle for the game-tying touchdown.

The Bills face another AFC North opponent next week; they play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football on the 15th.
