BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Bills have begun building their 2019 practice squad, a day after releasing their 53-man roster.
As of Sunday evening, the Bills brought back seven players after releasing them the day prior. They include tight end Nate Becker, cornerback Cam Lewis, offensive lineman Erik Magnuson, defensive tackle Kyle Peko, wide receiver Duke Williams, defensive end Eddie Yarbrough and running back Christian Wade.
Wade will be a practice squad only guy with the Bills using him as an exempt 11th player through the International Pathway Program. Wade came to the U.S. following a rugby career and will gain valuable experience with the Bills before he can vie for a permanent roster spot next season.
The Bills intend to solidify four more players to their practice squad by Monday evening.
