Both Sammy Watkins and Ronald Darby have made it to their new cities and both are surprised at how they were sent packing.
"[It] was just a total shock," Watkins told reporters in Los Angeles on Saturday night. "I'm definitely excited and honored to be here and I really just can't wait to get started."
"It was fast," Darby told reporters at Philadelphia Eagles practice Saturday morning. "I just heard I was being traded, like closed my eyes, opened them, I'm on a plane, closed my eyes, opened them, I'm laying down in the hotel and now I'm out here, everything has just been moving really fast."
Darby and Watkins' former Bills teammates echoed the surprise, with several players telling reporters after practice on Friday that the two big trades caught almost everyone off guard.

"Just being in LA can help me out," Watkins added. "[It's] a nice city, nice weather, and to just be in this city with the players just trying to chase a goal and win a championship and go to the playoffs."
When asked if Watkins' had an ill will towards his former team the 4th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft said "Nah, it's a business so I'm in LA, I just can't wait to get started honestly, it's a blessing to be here and I just can't wait to get started."

Watkins went on to joke about his three catches to start the Bills Thursday night preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings.
"They were targeting me pretty quick and then after the game, I was like oh, I was probably out there auditioning, but it's a great feeling just to be here and I'm really excited to get started."
