Well, that did not take long.
Last month former Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan was fired just two seasons into his five-year contract, but according to Sports Business Daily Ryan has a new job.
Ryan will reportedly appear on ESPN's Super Bowl edition of NFL Sunday Countdown, which airs from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
"Rex is a great personality and has a unique perspective," ESPN senior coordinating producer told Sports Business Daily. "He knows the Patriots really well. He's raring to go."
The job is reportedly only for Super Bowl Sunday, but if things go swimmingly it wouldn't be a surprise if Ryan latched on in a permanent role.
