Bills running back LeSean McCoy and quarterback Tyrod Taylor told reporters on Sunday they were recruiting free agent receiver Jeremy Maclin to join them in Buffalo.
McCoy in fact said he was the first to reach outto his former Philadelphia teammate when he was shockingly released from the Chiefs on Friday.
Buffalo couldn't officially initiate contact with Maclin until 4 p.m. on Monday, but it appears they aren't wasting any time bringing in the free agent.
According to Paul Peck, the Bills and Maclin will meet on Tuesday.

Maclin recorded back-to-back 1,000 yard receiving seasons before an injury plagued 2016 season limited him to 12 games and 536 receiving yards. He only scored twice a year ago.
The receiver would provide depth and an added punch on the outside opposite of Sammy Watkins.
McCoy and Maclin started their NFL careers in Philadelphia and played together from 2009-2014. New Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott was on the defensive staff with the Eagles until 2010.
