Even with adding Zay Jones in the NFL Draft, the Bills are still in need of depth a wide receiver.

Help could soon be on the way in the form of Pro-Bowler Jeremy Maclin, who was released by the Kansas City Chiefs two days ago.

According the Huffington Post the free agent receiver and the Bills are in "preliminary talks."

Guess who else has had conversations with Maclin? Bills running back LeSean McCoy, who told reporters at his charity softball game on Sunday he was the first person to reach out to the receiver after his release.

"I know he could help us out tremendously," McCoy said "I've been doing my recruiting all ready and don't be surprised if it happens."

The running back and receiver were together in Philadelphia and McCoy was also in Maclin's wedding.

"Tyrod (Taylor) actually texted me when it happened and said 'get on the phone with Mac,'" McCoy joked.

Taylor could benefit from having another threat on the outside.  Prior to an injury plagued season a year ago, which limited Maclin to just 12 games and 536 receiving yards, in 2014 and 2015 he had back to back 1,000 yard receiving seasons and combined to score 18 touchdowns.

"We'd love to have a guy like him on our team competing and coming out and making plays for us," Taylor said.
