A day after confusion and speculation swirled regarding the wording of one interview candidate, the Bills clarified and announced they've interviewed a second candidate in as many days for the opening in the front office.
Terry and Kim Pegula interviewed Houston's Director of Player Personnel Brian Gaine of Friday.
Gaine, who would bring with him nearly 18 years of front office experience to Buffalo, has spent the last three seasons in his current role with the Texans.
In 2015 he was promoted to his current role after serving as the team's director of college scouting. Prior to that he served with the Miami Dolphins as assistant general manager.
Buffalo interviewed Carolina's Brandon Beane on Thursday, but in their release only announced the meeting as a "front office candidate" but never specified the position he interview for.
The organization announced Friday that Beane in fact interviewed for the open GM position with the Bills.
