A Niagara Falls man was arrested for DWI after police say he was driving on the wrong side of the road with beer in the front seat.

48-year-old Freddy Barrett was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the road on Hill Street in the City of Tonawanda Sunday morning.  Police say he showed signs of intoxication, and when he was asked for a license he told police, "I don't have one."  They also say he had five cans of cold beer on his front seat.

Police say a check showed that Barrett's license had previously been revoked for DWI.  He was also driving a car without a court-ordered interlock device.

He's charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Aggravated DWI, DWI within 10 years of another, no interlock device, and eight vehicle traffic law charges.
