WNY's smallest restaurant with a big reputation

It's not a very big place. It measures about 12 feet by 17 feet. But it's what's inside that counts at The Shack on Delaware.

The restaurant opened two years ago. Owner and Chef Rick Tartick spent 35 years in the restaurant business at some of the areas's fanciest eateries.

He calls the fare at The Shack "five star food at fast food prices." On Yelp, the customer review website, it's listed as one of Western New York's best places to eat. That's not bad for a restaurant that only seats five.

Tartick's array of soups and sandwiches have attracted customers from as far away as Texas and Hawaii. Mostly they do take-out, but you can eat in if there's room or outside a picnic table when it warms up a little.

You can find more information at their website.
