The kids trace and cut out shapes from donated denim to turn into shoes. Once completed they sent the packages over to Uganda where shoemakers put together the shoes.

The Y.M.C.A. has set a goal of 1,000 shoes but the organization needs help with donated denim. You can drop off an old pair of jeans or maybe an old denim jacket at any Y.M.C.A. site.
