Brittany Hoffman, Lizzie Scott and Ally Rose Marella won a singing contest and the prize was an opportunity to perform at  Carnegie Hall. Each singer performed a solo on the world's most famous stage last December. Brittany sang an opera piece and says "It was breathtaking, I really don't have words to describe, I was so overwhelmed."

The young singers are part of a competition team, put together at Matt's Music Inc. in North Tonawanda. Owner Zach Carr says they don't just focus on notes. He says" instruction includes how to use their hands, their bodies, how to use their microphone technique."

Matt's Music vocal team includes singers from age 9 to age 19. They perform all over Western New York. Anyone can join the group as long as they take singing lessons at Matt's Music and pass an audition. Lizzie Scott admits her performance on stage was a little scary, adding  "But it was amazing, one of the best stages I have been on."

There's more information about Matt's Music Inc.on Facebook and at their website.
