WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) - It began as a fun hobby for Suzanne Angle, making beautiful jewelry by recycling old silverware. She says "it's not only pretty, but it's taking something that people were tossing out and we're repurposing it for something new and beautiful."
She transforms forks into rings and made part of an old brush into a bracelet. And while Suzanne has boxes and boxes of old flatware, she has plans for all types of old silver pieces.
Her hobby quickly turned ito a on-of-a-kind worldwide business selling tools and training to others. With the help of her husband Rick, they fill orders for jewelry artists all over the world.
Suzanne thinks that the reason so many people enjoy this hobby is because they are preserving history by "turning grandma's old silverware into something special."
