AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) — They are a musical group that's been around longer than the Rolling Stones and in Western New York they are just as popular. Red Blazer Men's Chorus is getting ready for their annual concert at the end of the month.

Musical Director Brett Ransom says that one thing that makes the group so popular is "we memorize our music for our show which adds a level of interaction that other chorus concerts might not have."

The Red Blazers includes more than forty members and just celebrated seventy-one years. Brett has been with the group for thirteen years. For the past eleven years he has been the group's director. Brett is only the second music director in RBMC history.

Their upcoming performances are March 29th & 30th at Sweet Home Middle School. There is more information at their website.
