WILSON, NY (WKBW-TV) — She always liked to draw but now that her three children are older, Nikki Milley has jumped into her portrait business with both feet. The village of Wilson artist is mostly self taught. She says "I focus mainly on pets because that's what people want."

She spends as much as ten hours a day at her drawing board and has a preference for colored pencils because she says they are not messy and she can take them anywhere but the drawback is "they're slow, very slow."

Nikki shares her works and works in progress on Facebook and lately has been presenting tips on Facebook live. She gives art tips, but says since not everyone is interested in art she also tries to give helpful pointers anyone can use. In a recent appearance she showed how to use a dollar bill as aa measuring tool and how to open a paint can with a quarter.

She says her plan is to have national fame someday, adding " I'm not going to stop until everyone knows Nikki Milley in the United States". Meanwhile you will find her busy working at her drawing board. You can also find Nikki Milley on Facebook and at her website.
