If you remember the scary Lon Chaney "Phantom of The Opera" you might think that actor Quentin Oliver Lee is way too handsome to take on the role. He says not to worry "they really rough me up-I spend about an hour in the make-up chair."

The six foot six inch actor is starring in the title role on stage at Shea's Performing Arts Center through May 6th. He's says he made the career choice to become an opera singer not that long ago. "I just decided about a year ago."

Besides singing and acting as the "Phantom" Quentin says he has to dodge some on stage explosions "There's pyrotechnics going off right near me."

The Phantom of The Opera is in town for a limited run. You can get more information at the Shea's website.
