It's quite an attention getter. Some people think it's a food truck. Nicole Brown, manager of the Bookmobile says "it's kind of a food truck, because it's food for your brain." She should know. Nicole is on the road five days a week, traveling through Erie County, bringing a bounty of books to those who can't get to the library.

It's thirty feet long and over eleven feet high, but Nicole says she has no problem handling the big rig. She says "everything takes a little more space and you do things a little slower."

The Bookmobile can handle most of the services you can get at the regular library. You can check out the bookmobile schedule on the library website.
