If you know of any fairies that are looking for a new home, then you'd better check out the Fairy & Gnome Festival at the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens this Saturday from 10am until 5pm.

Organizer Kristy Schmitt says the annual event got started four years ago "we noticed that fairy gardening was a trend and it sounded like a fun even for kids and I like fairies and so does my staff so we said let's give it a try."

The festival includes lots of family fun and a fairy house contest. There are more than fifty fairy house entries this year.

The fairy houses will be on display through May 28. For the Festival on Saturday you can get a dollar off the admission price by dressing as a fairy or in any other "appropriate costume".

You can find more information on the Botanical Gardens website.
