TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) — MaryKate O'Connell's plan was to start a theatre company that would provide crowd pleasing productions at a reasonable price. Twenty-five years later O'Connell & Company is still welcoming audiences. MaryKate says "I believe we have succeeded. Twenty-five years later, those are still my mission points."

The actress has performed dozens of roles over the years and appeared in a few of the locally produced Christmas movies. Her 'Divas By Divas' presentations have raised thousands of dollars for local women and children's charities.

MaryKate is getting ready for her next role. She'll star in 'Glorious!: The True Story Of Florence Foster Jenkins The Worst Singer in The World.' The show opens February 6th in the theatre company's new home at the Ken-Ton Elmwood Commons.

About 'O'Connell & Company's new home MaryKate says "you hear about theatres that every seat in the house is a good, this really is."
