Buffalo Silver Band prepares for special concert

Commemorating 100th Anniversary of the end of WWI

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) - The Buffalo Silver Band has been around since 1915. Bill Cocca has been the conductor for six years. He says the all volunteer group doesn't get paid adding "we all get the same pay and that's pretty much enjoyment."

The Buffalo Silver Band is rehearsing for a special concert commemorating the end 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

The big show is Saturday November 10th at Slee Hall on the U.B. campus. Tickets are available at the band's website.
