7 Eyewitness News has learned that representatives from AMC Theaters and the Benchmark Group, the local developer behind the project, are scheduled to meet this week in New York City to continue discussions on a $9 million dollar project on Main Street..
Plans to convert the old Market Arcade Cinema Complex into a state of the art movie theater have been in the works since 2014.
The Benchmark Group officially purchased the building for $250,000 in February of 2016.
