Sweet success in Southtowns at Kaylena Marie's Bakery

She was a baking professional by age 17
Posted

When she was only a junior in high school Kaylena Marie Eisenhauer knew she wanted to be a professional baker. She says "when I was 17 I got my DBA and started baking." At first she made cookies that were sold at Delta Sonic, her place of employment.

Last year she opened her own place on North Buffalo Street in Orchard Park. Kaylena Marie's Bakery features all kinds of sweet treats including cookies, muffins, real Italian bread and the best seller cinnamon rolls. They now offer breakfast and lunch and are working on expanding the dining area.

What makes Kaylena's story remarkable is that she just turned twenty years old in March. The young baking entrepenuer is busy making cakes for Mother's Day and speaking of "mom", Kaylena's Mom,  Holly is on the staff and admits "Kaylena does all the baking, I help with the counter."

You can find Kalena Marie's Bakery on FaceBook and in person at 4236 N. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park.
