Smoke On The Water is heaven for meat lovers

The name of the place is Smoke On The Water and their specialty is barbecue. Owner and Chef J.J. Richert says that he and his brothers started it as "kind of a hobby."

The restaurant features meat specialties that are smoked right outside the building like chicken and ribs. But J.J. says he tries to offer items that will appeal to non-meat eaters too, adding "we don't just do Bar-b-que, we have a nice sea food options like tuna tacos."

Customers can sit out on the deck overlooking Erie Canal. When asked if Smoke On The Water has the "best" barbecue in Tonawanda, J.J. says "actually we can say that, because we are the only barbecue in Tonawanda."
