Plenty of people are looking to get back to the gym after all those holiday treats, but should you tough it out when you're sick?
Experts say that depends on how sick you are. The Mayo Clinic suggests following the "neck rule." That means if your symptoms are above the neck, like a stuffy nose, it's okay to work out. If you have symptoms like muscle aches or nausea, however, exercise could make them worse.
