Seneca Street is closed in Downtown Buffalo, between Chicago and Louisiana, because of a water main break.
Buffalo Water crews are waiting for morning workers to come in and fix the break.
Water flooded Seneca Street for hours Friday morning.
The Buffalo police garage and some restaurants in the area are affected by the water outage.
The closure is expected to last until mid-afternoon.
Water should be back on later Friday.
