Sabres make their second selection of the NHL Draft

For the second day in a row, the Buffalo Sabres had the first pick of the day at the 2018 NHL Draft.

With the first pick of the second round, 32nd overall, the Sabres selected defenseman Mattias Samuelsson.

The Sabres kicked off the draft festivities Friday night by selecting 18-year-old Swedish standout Rasmus Dahlin with the first overall pick.

As of now, the Sabres also hold two fourth round picks (94 and 117), a fifth round pick (125), a sixth round pick (156), and a seventh round pick (187).
